Lake Ontario Park on a rainy winter morning. The park has changed a great deal in the last decade, for the better. It used to be a rather dingy amusement park and RV campsite, but it has been extensively but carefully renovated. Even the new hospital doesn't intrude, and they kept the toboggan hill!

Took a little stroll around the upper part of Princess St the other day. I say "upper part" like someone who's grown up here- Princess St goes way out, but I mean the part just below the Kingston Centre. Of course, I did grow up here, and can even vaguely remember that there was a traffic circle at the Kingston Centre! The awesome water tower still stands...

...looming over the neighbourhood.

At Queen's University they are demolishing the old PhysEd buildings (where many of us sweated through exams!), presumably in order to build something else. It's a fascinating process, because they aren't simply bulldozing it all, but carefully cutting it into small pieces and taking them away.
