At work the hay barn is emptied out and the remains are trampled dusty and flat on the floor. We need some rain to get the grass back in. At Paterson park the cooler weather is bringing back various May flies in prodigious numbers:
...where the hydro crews flattened a path last fall. Up along Front Rd the verges emerged from under the snowbanks. It's all greened up now, of course, but there's always an uncertain few weeks after the snow is gone when it doesn't seem quite settled that spring is going to take.
